Five injured in crash at Walden Street and Bristers Hill Road
Two people were taken to regional trauma centers by helicopter.

Five people were injured — with two taken to regional trauma centers by helicopter — in a Saturday afternoon crash at Walden Street and Bristers Hill Road, authorities said.
The two-vehicle crash occurred at about 1 p.m., according to a statement from the Acton police and fire departments.
Two people were taken by Boston MedFlight to trauma centers, one was taken by ambulance to a trauma center, and the remaining two were taken to local hospitals by ambulance, authorities said.
Acton police and the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section were investigating the crash, which led to the closure of Walden Street between Thoreau Street and Route 2 for about 90 minutes.
Local authorities declined to provide further information about the crash or the status of the people involved, instead referring inquiries to the Middlesex County District Attorney’s office.
The Acton Bridge contacted a district attorney’s spokesperson Saturday, but did not immediately hear back.
This breaking story will be updated.
