From spirits to seafood, Taste of Acton aims to satisfy
Gourmets, gastronomes, and just plain lovers of all things culinary are invited to Nashawtuc Country Club on October 21.

Food, glorious food.
Gourmets, gastronomes, and just plain lovers of all things culinary can indulge in flavors from sweet to savory at the Chamber of Commerce’s “Taste of Acton” on October 21.
Co-hosted by West Acton Wine & Spirits, the event will be held at Nashawtuc Country Club and will benefit the Chamber’s programs.

The event committee promises “a lively evening of flavors” from many providers. “Our amazing local restaurants, bakeries, and food establishments really bring it with bold flavors, creative dishes, and the best bites in town,” says Chamber Managing Director Pam Reed. “It’s such a fun community event.”
Attendees can sample food, wines, craft beers, and spirits from Acton’s restaurants, bakeries, and other establishments, and participate in a silent auction.

There will be Italian-inspired, homemade cuisine; “a true taste of Mexico”; nuts, chocolates, dried fruit, and olive oil sourced from around the world; farm-to-table eats from a fourth-generation family business; fine pastries and desserts; samples from an independent natural market; fresh-caught fish; and more.
West Acton Wine & Spirits will provide a guided tasting experience with over 50 selections from vineyards in California and Europe, plus craft beers, mocktails, and artisanal spirits.
Among the participants will be Fiorella’s Cucina, Bandolero’s, Gräem Nuts and Chocolates, New England Olive Oil Co., The Cheese Shop, Acton Teacakes, Debra’s Natural Gourmet, Nashoba Brooks Bakery, and West Village Tavern.
New to the event this year are Nashawtuc Country Club, Twin Seafood, Woods Hill Table, and Main Street Café.

A limited number of tickets is available for a new “VIP Tasting Experience,” which includes a rare bourbon sampling led by a representative from Sazerac Co.
The Chamber promotes and serves businesses, supports tourism, and cultivates a strong economic climate, according to its website, all the while making sure its efforts are “consistent and in harmony with the character and culture of Acton.”
“Taste of Acton” will be held Tuesday, October 21, 6-8 p.m., at Nashawtuc Country Club, 1861 Sudbury Road. Guests must be 21 or older to purchase tickets and enter the event. Tickets, $60, are available at concordchamberofcommerce.org or at West Acton Wine & Spirits, 1216 Main Street. Tickets that include the VIP hour from 5 to 6 p.m. are $120.
