Gift card donation
Last week, Acton-Carlisle High School senior Lola Van Duzer discovered a gift card in one of the books she was browsing at a Friends of the Library book sale. Rather than keeping it for herself, she handed it over to the Friends treasurer, Stephan Bader. Unless it’s claimed, the proceeds from the card will be used to benefit library programs.
Last week Lola Van Duzer was browsing at the Friends of the Library book sale when she discovered a gift card in one of the books.
Rather than claiming “finders keepers,” the Acton-Carlisle High School senior handed the card to Friends treasurer Stephan Bader. Unless it’s claimed, proceeds from the card will be used to benefit library programs.
Lola said there was never a doubt in her mind about keeping the card for herself — after all, she’s been a Girl Scout for a dozen years.
