Open Table kids’ lunch program returns in July

The Fuel Up for Summer program runs for six weeks beginning the week of July 13.

Open Table will again run its Fuel Up for Summer program, which provides nutritious, peanut-free lunches and snacks for children, for six weeks beginning the week of July 13. New clients can register now, and all clients can begin ordering online on July 9. Returning clients need not register.

Details on lunch and snack components, weekly order deadlines, and pickup times and location are available at opentable.org/kids.

This summer program is offered in addition to Open Table’s groceries and prepared frozen meals.

“Every week, hundreds of local families rely on Open Table for the food they need. Summer vacation can put even more stress on parents when kids are no longer getting lunch at school,” said Open Table Executive Director Alexandra DePalo. “We are happy to do our part to offer some extra food support during July and August — particularly as food and gas prices are so high this year.”

Photo identification and proof of need are not required. For further information, call (978) 369-2275 or email [email protected].
