Protesters gathered in Monument Square on Saturday despite gray skies and drizzling rain with signs declaring that the U.S. has “No Kings.” Roughly 2,000 people, according to a police estimate, marched in Acton Center. They gathered as part of one of nearly 2,000 demonstrations planned nationally to coincide with a military parade in Washington, D.C. that marks the 250th birthday of the U.S. Army — and President Donald Trump’s 79th.
