Now in its sixth year, Porchfest 2025 featured more performances than ever before.

Morning rain and chilly air didn’t discourage Concordians from getting outside on Saturday and listening to live music on makeshift stages across town.

West Acton Porchfest featured more than 50 performances spread across the village from the train station to Thoreau Elementary School.

Porches, driveways, and front yards transformed into concert venues as solo artists, bands, and ensembles offered everything from bluegrass and Beatles covers to jazz, classical, and indie rock.

Crowds ebbed and flowed from one block to the next, with some bundled up in jackets and hats. Families pushed strollers, cyclists cruised from stop to stop, and neighbors paused to tune in.

Karen Kashian, Margot Kimball, and Mitch Levine were among those dancing in the street as the band Make U Wanna covered “Uptown Funk.”
“Of course I’m dancing — it sounds good!” Kashian said.

Now in its sixth year, Porchfest 2025 featured more performances than ever before. The free grassroots festival was backed by the West Acton Cultural District Committee and the Mass Cultural Council.
