Update: Woman safe after Acton search

A woman has been found safe following an extensive search involving Acton and Acton police, officials announced. 

The 37-year-old woman had last been seen at Emerson Hospital around 9 a.m. Sunday, according to an Acton police post on social media. 

Police updated their post just after 8 p.m. Tuesday and thanked “everyone who provided information.”

Acton police announced an increased presence around Emerson earlier in the day as authorities tried to find her.

“We’ve had quite a few resources out there,” Capt. Brian Goldman told The Acton Bridge. 

Acton firefighters also aided the response, according to a social media announcement.
