Where’s your Bridge? Edinburgh… and Denver
Where will you dream of taking your Bridge next?
From our June 14 edition:
Acton Economic Vitality Manager Mimi Graney writes, “I was away on vacation and just couldn’t stop myself from bringing along a copy of the Bridge! Here I am in the Grassmarket section of Edinburgh with a view of Edinburgh Castle behind me.”
And from our June 7 edition:
Readers Chris Schaffner and Ann Sussman traveled to Denver and paused to pose with their copy of The Acton Bridge at the “Luz de Denver,” or Light of Denver, a permanent installation at the Mile High City’s Riverfront Park.
Created by artist Jorge Marin and installed in 2019, the piece invites public interaction, “or in the artist’s words, ‘We give you these wings to celebrate your victories, but also to dream and conscientiously reflect your potential as a person,’” Sussman writes.
