CCHS Patriots roundup: Wrestlers finish third in States
The wrestling team had three athletes finish in third place at the States on February 17. Penn Boger (106 pounds) won his first match, but was outpointed 13-0 by Beverly’s Brayden Pouliot in his second match. Boger dropped into the second bracket and won his four matches, all by pin, to take third place. Boger wrestled Pouliot in the third-place deciding match and pinned him 1:16. Boger was 4-1 on the day, winning all his matches by pins all within 1:41 or less. Kian Amouzgar, at 175 pounds, lost his first match, then won his next five to win third
