Akehurst-Moore and Anderson ‘embody the best of Acton’

I am proud to support Elizabeth Akehurst-Moore for Select Board and Alexa Anderson for School Committee. These two exceptional leaders embody the best of Acton — deeply committed to our community, dedicated to thoughtful governance, and ready to tackle the challenges ahead with collaboration and vision.

Elizabeth and Alexa bring years of experience serving on key town committees and boards, demonstrating their ability to lead with integrity and effectiveness. Their track records speak for themselves — measured decision-making, fiscal responsibility, and a genuine investment in Acton’s long-term success. But what excites me most about their candidacies is their commitment to working together.

Too often, town boards and committees operate in silos, making it difficult to implement coordinated solutions to our most pressing issues. Elizabeth and Alexa recognize that Acton’s future depends on cooperation across leadership roles. Their pledge to work collaboratively ensures that long-term planning and fiscal sustainability will be approached with a shared purpose, not in isolation.

Additionally, I love seeing women supporting women in leadership. This kind of partnership should be encouraged — not just in this election, but across all levels of town governance. Their teamwork sets a powerful example and gives me confidence that Acton’s vibrance and success will continue for generations to come.

Elizabeth Akehurst-Moore and Alexa Anderson are the leaders Acton needs now. I urge my fellow residents to support them in this election.
