The Acton-Carlisle boys hockey team finished its regular season with a 7-4 home ice win over Dartmouth High School on February 18. Multiple Patriots stoked the offense, including team-leading scorers Joe Grasso and Declan Daley, who combined for three goals and three assists.
- Team record: Overall 10-7-3, Dual County League 8-3-1
- Big game: Alex Fivek, Theo Price, Tommy McKenna, and Owen Moynihan found the net for the Patriots, who led by three or more goals for much of the game.
- Turning point: Midway through the first period, forward Ben Brooks danced around a defender in the offensive zone, whipped the puck from the right circle to the left, and found a streaking Daley, who deked the Dartmouth goalie and slid the puck into the net backhanded to give the Pats a 1-0 lead.
- Unsung hero: Defenseman Will Steffens also starred on offense, contributing four assists.
- Up next: The Patriots were next to lace up their skates Wednesday against the Melrose Red Hawks in the first round of the MIAA State Championship Playoffs at The Edge in Bedford.
