Team record: Overall 4-0-4; Dual County League 1-0-1

Big game: Yet again the Patriots defense impressed, but forward Bridget Fivek stole the show, sharpshooting from a scrum to give CCHS a narrow but decisive edge with only minutes remaining.

Unsung hero: The JV and freshman teams turned in excellent performances as well. JV tied 2-2, preserving their shimmering 6-1-1 record. The undefeated frosh again won decisively, this time 5-0. (Their defense, including eighth grade goalie Emma Flynn, has allowed only one goal all season.)

Up next: The Patriots were to host league rival Lincoln-Sudbury on September 30.
