Senior Ammar Bagasra took first place in the under-18 25-meter sport pistol event in Colorado Springs.
Acton-Carlisle High School senior Ammar Bagasra took first place in the under-18 25-meter sport pistol event at the Junior Olympics in Colorado Springs. He finished fourth overall in sport pistol for the weeklong competition, which wrapped up on Monday, Patriots Day.
Bagasra also placed third in the under-18 10-meter air pistol, and seventh overall in air pistol. He says he missed the final podium by just two points.
Still, “Colorado has been pretty good,” he said in an email to The Acton Bridge.
Next up will be Nationals in Michigan this June.
