CCYB Padres celebrate first championship win

Acton-Carlisle Youth Baseball’s Padres won their first championship game this month, narrowly edging the Cubs 7-6 at Ripley Field. The players have been together for three years under the guidance of Head Coach Mike McCarthy, assisted by Dan Healy and Pete Loncto. “The Padres are nothing short of a very unique and special team founded on loyalty, camaraderie, and friendship,” writes Acton Bridge reader Katy Mulvany, who sent in this photo of the victors.
