Acton Country Club backs Newbury Court plan
As neighbors to the proposed site, we have had the opportunity to understand the scope and intent of the project.
On behalf of the Board of Governors of Acton Country Club, we write in strong support of the Deaconess Abundant Life Communities project and Article 46 on the upcoming Town Meeting warrant.
We’ve been neighbors with the Deaconess community for over 100 years, and during that time, we’ve come to appreciate their mission, values, and longstanding commitment to Acton. As neighbors to the proposed site, we have had the opportunity to understand the scope and intent of the project. We believe this initiative represents thoughtful planning, a much-needed expansion of senior living options in Acton, and a responsible use of land that aligns with the character and values of our town.
The proposed rezoning will enable the development of a campus that will not only benefit current and future residents but also contribute to the broader community through services, employment, and long-term stability.
We encourage Town Meeting voters to support Article 46 and allow this project to move forward.
