Elect Hiersteiner to Select Board for his ‘forward-looking mindset’
As a parent, coach, volunteer, and board member, he understands how town policies affect real families and real businesses.
As a small-business owner and entrepreneur who lives in Acton, and a former volunteer member of the Town Meeting Study Committee, I’m proud to endorse Sam Hiersteiner for Select Board.
In the coming years, Acton will make major decisions about development, infrastructure, and our local economy. These are choices that will influence whether entrepreneurs, employers, and families see Acton as a place to invest, grow, and put down roots. At this moment, it is essential that the Select Board reflects not only where Acton has been, but who our future customers, workers, and neighbors will be.
Sam brings a unique perspective to our town, having worked as a consultant, philanthropic executive, and civic education professional. He understands how economic vibrancy, quality of life, and civic trust reinforce one another. This matters enormously as Acton weighs some of the biggest opportunities and challenges it has seen in generations.
Just as important, Sam is an exceptional communicator. He knows how to listen, explain complex issues clearly, and bring people together across differences — qualities that make better decisions possible and give residents confidence in the process. As a parent, coach, volunteer, and board member, he understands how town policies affect real families and real businesses.
Acton thrives when leadership reflects the full scope of its future. Sam Hiersteiner would bring energy, balance, and a forward-looking mindset to the Select Board at exactly the right time.
