Elizabeth Akehurst-Moore would add ‘excellent balance’ to Select Board

I write in support of Elizabeth Akehurst-Moore for Acton Select Board. Elizabeth attended Acton Academy. After her education was complete, she moved to Acton, where she now resides with her husband and four children. She will bring broad experience and exceptional energy to the board. She has served on the Acton Board of Appeals and on the Prison Advisory Committee.
She is the owner of the Acton Market and Nosh Catering. In addition to her civic and business experience, she is a graduate of Harvard Law School and has earned a master’s degree in historic preservation from York University. She is well versed on the issues facing Acton and is pragmatic and measured in her approach. She would be a fine addition to the board and would add excellent balance to its deliberations.
