Embrace our history with trail markers
Let’s follow the North Star to the full truth, and proudly proclaim all of the history of our extraordinary little town.
I struggle to understand why anyone would object to Black Heritage Trail Markers being placed in Acton to highlight the extraordinary history of Black Concordians. This is a history to be proud of, to trumpet, and to make sure that Acton’s many visitors have an opportunity to understand and share our pride.
Harriet Tubman was one of my childhood heroes, but I never knew until recently that she had ever been here.
Let’s do Acton proud, follow the North Star to the full truth, and proudly proclaim all of the history of our extraordinary little town.
