EMS workers’ compassionate care ‘made a difficult time a little easier’
I’m writing to express my appreciation for the Acton Fire Department emergency medical services.
On several occasions during the summer, I needed their assistance for my wife, who passed away in August. Once it was for hospital transport, other times to assist after a fall. Regardless of the time of day — mid-afternoon or 2:30 in the morning — they showed up at my door and were professional, helpful, and compassionate. Their help made a difficult time a little easier.
There are many reasons to be grateful for living in a community like Acton. The EMS personnel are certainly on that list.
