Endorsing Dean Banfield for his ‘analytical and managerial skills’

As a fellow member of the Finance Committee, I got to witness Dean’s analytical and managerial skills firsthand.

Dean Banfield is an exemplary candidate for Select Board.

Acton’s Select Board candidates are, usually, a self-selecting bunch. They typically are longtime residents, have had children attend both Acton Public Schools and CCHS, and have served on at least one of the town’s governing or advisory committees.

Having lived here for 30 years, seen three kids through CPS/CCHS, served on the NRC, the Finance Committee (chair 2020), the Solar Task Force, written and/or participated in many citizen petitions related to our renewable energy future, served as deputy moderator in 2025, (and much more), Dean Banfield is a model Select Board candidate.

As a fellow member of the Finance Committee, I got to witness Dean’s analytical and managerial skills firsthand. He has a very mature understanding of the complex workings of our town government. I can attest to his abilities as a cooperative team member who “plays well with other children.”

I urge you to join me in voting for Dean Banfield for Select Board.
