Everyone in Acton should be ‘safe, accepted, and celebrated’
I’m writing to express my deep dismay at the recent and not-so-recent antisemitic actions by some in our community.
Dear Rabbi Darby,
I’m writing to express my deep dismay at the recent and not-so-recent antisemitic actions by some in our community. Sadly, I imagine there are even more examples that are not known to the public. It goes without saying that this is horrific and not to be tolerated.
In my immigration justice work I’ve had the chance to work with many friends in Kerem Shalom. My heart hurts imagining the pain this has inflicted on them (and on all of us who care about our Jewish neighbors).
Please know that many, many of us are outraged and stand ready to support the needed work toward a community where we all are safe, accepted, and celebrated.
You are not alone.
