Extolling Mary Hartman’s ‘vision and skills’

I am voting for Mary Hartman for Select Board, because Mary shares my values for Acton’s future. Mary’s many qualifications and financial acumen have been written about in other letters to this paper. 

Mary has the needed vision and skills to continue to guide Acton toward a future of social and economic prosperity. Her goal of easing the tax burden by increasing economic vitality through enhancing Acton’s businesses is necessary to our future. Even as Mary looks to and plans for the future, she understands and values Acton’s unique history and our amazing historic, cultural, and natural spaces. 

She is also aware that a diverse community is a healthy community and is working with all members of our town to create an even more vibrant, equitable, and healthy Acton.
