This year’s annual Town Meeting begins on Monday, June 2, at Acton-Carlisle High School, 500 Walden Street. Here are five things you should know.

  • Bring your Town Meeting briefing book — either the hard copy you received in the mail or a downloaded copy from the town website, concordma.gov, on your smart device.
  • The Meeting begins and ends earlier this year. It’s a 6:30 p.m. (sharp) start, with no new business after 9:30 p.m.
  • There are two specially scheduled high-interest articles:
    • Article 34 (Stormwater Fund Expenditures) on Tuesday, June 3, at 6:45 p.m.
    • Article 46 (Citizen Petition: Zoning Bylaw Amendment: Continuing Care Retirement Community Overlay District) on Wednesday, June 4, at 6:45 p.m.
  • Two other high-interest articles will be taken up in the order of the warrant:
    • Article 8 (Debt Exclusion for Road Maintenance), likely to be reached on Monday, June 2; and
    • Article 13 (Amenities Building for CCHS), likely to be reached Monday, June 2.
  • Electronic Voting: We’ll be joining 70 or so other Massachusetts town meetings in using “clickers” to take votes.

Your voice and your vote matter. Want to know more? Need childcare or accessibility accommodations? Visit the 2025 Town Meeting page at concordma.gov.
