You have heard it before: we are in critical need of wireless services working 365/24/7 in the Acton downtown area immediately. Again, an emergency incident cannot get an appropriate response because of this issue.
I’m downtown getting gift certificates to thank physicians and staff for the current care that a family member is receiving. I am supporting Acton businesses by offering people to come enjoy our town and spend my and their money in our town.
An emergency call is made to my cell phone and nothing — not even a message appears to tell me a “missed call” or “an attempted call.” Nothing. Only when I get home do I get a landline message that I am needed.
Please fix this relentless problem now. Wireless services for timely communication in today’s modern era are not unlike basic services, like clean water, sewage removal, and stable electric power — all privileges, for sure, but on which we rely.
