Friends thank community for success of Fall Paperback Sale
The sale not only raised important support for our library, but more importantly, it put books directly into the hands of eager readers.
We want to thank the Acton community for making the very first Fall Library Paperback Sale such a tremendous success. Held as part of Agriculture Day, the sale brought together readers of all ages — from infants nestled in strollers to a spry 92-year-old — and reflected the diversity and spirit that make our town so special.
It was a joy to see neighbors and visitors alike browsing, chatting, and leaving with armfuls of books to enjoy. The sale not only raised important support for our library, but more importantly, it put books directly into the hands of eager readers.
We are thrilled to continue building this tradition and grateful to everyone who came out to be part of it. For those who missed the event, or for anyone looking to keep the momentum going, please visit the Friends’ Acton Bookshop, located by the entrance to the children’s section of the Library.
Thank you, Acton, for reminding us once again why our town is such a remarkable place to live, read, and gather.
See you at the Library.
