Help us measure town’s accessibility, inclusivity by completing ADA survey

If you — or someone you love — has ever experienced disability, whether temporarily or chronically, please complete this short survey.

It’s fantastic news — we got the grant. Thanks to a small group of diligent Acton residents, the Commission on Disability has secured a unique opportunity to take a holistic look at our town’s accessibility and inclusivity.

This is exactly why I joined the Commission: to be part of meaningful progress. Please consider supporting this effort. If you — or someone you love — has ever experienced disability, whether temporarily or chronically, please take five minutes to complete this short, seven-question survey. Your input will help us understand and prioritize Acton’s path toward a more accessible and inclusive future.

My child lives with disability every moment of every day, but there are countless ways the world around him affects his ability to access buildings, events, and local programming. Despite high levels of empathy and education in our community, Acton still too often falls short of its goal to be inclusive and welcoming to all.

This grant gives us a tangible first step toward comprehensive improvements in infrastructure, programming, and digital accessibility; and the ADA survey provides critical data.

You can easily find the survey at concordma.gov/ADASurvey.

Your engagement matters.
