Hiersteiner represents new generation ready to guide Acton into the future
Acton needs leaders who are thinking ahead and committed to careful planning that protects what we value most about living here.
As Acton residents, we’ve come to appreciate how much our town depends on people who are willing to show up, pitch in, and care about the community beyond their own front door. That’s why we’re supporting Sam Hiersteiner for Select Board. He represents a new generation of Concordians who want to help guide our town thoughtfully into the future and make it an even more vibrant and welcoming place for all.
Sam’s vision focuses on strengthening our local economy and broadening our tax base through smart, responsible development. With the financial pressures many communities face today, and the rising cost of living affecting so many families, Acton needs leaders who are thinking ahead and committed to careful planning that protects what we value most about living here.
What stands out about Sam is how involved he already is in the life of the community. It’s common to see him out on the fields and in the gyms coaching his children’s sports teams, giving his time to support young people and building the kind of community spirit that makes Acton a wonderful place to raise a family. His presence reflects a belief that civic life begins with being involved and showing up.
One unique part of Sam’s life reflective of how he’ll lead is his love of food and community. He’s a published cookbook writer who often talks about the value of sharing a table with friends and neighbors. It may seem like a personal detail, but it reflects curiosity, creativity, and openness to exchanging ideas — qualities that help build strong communities.
Acton benefits when people step forward to serve. Sam Hiersteiner is one of those people, and we’re proud to support him for Select Board.
