Hiersteiner works for town’s present and future

We’ve lived in Acton for several years, and through our kids, sports, and town life, we’ve come to know Sam Hiersteiner in a real, everyday way. Early on, we noticed how naturally he steps up for others — whether supporting a local business, volunteering when something needs doing, reaching out to neighbors in times of need, or helping organize efforts that strengthen our town.

Sam approaches every issue with curiosity and thoughtfulness. He asks questions, listens carefully, and looks for ways to tackle challenges collaboratively. That combination of insight and practical problem-solving is exactly what we need in local leadership.

Acton faces important choices in the years ahead — planning for change without losing the character of our town, managing finances responsibly, supporting local businesses, and preserving the open spaces and neighborhoods we all value. Sam sees how these pieces connect, and he approaches them in a grounded, steady way that keeps people informed and involved. As a parent raising children here, he thinks about what will serve the town both now and in the future.

We’re supporting Sam because we have seen his generosity, integrity, and commitment firsthand. He’s willing to do the work, bring people together, and help Acton thrive now and for future generations. He would be an excellent voice on the Select Board, and we hope others will join us in supporting him.
