Make town’s history visible to all

Historic preservation in Acton should not be about preserving physical objects that support the portrayal of a selective vision of our past. Rather it should be about making the actual history of the town visible to all residents and visitors.

Where we have fallen short of this goal in the past, we should be willing to overcompensate in the future to make up for these oversights.
