Mary Hartman’s dedication, experience make her ‘best choice’ for Select Board
Her deep understanding of local governance, financial acumen, and collaborative approach make her the ideal candidate.
I am writing to express my enthusiastic support for Mary Hartman’s candidacy for the Acton Select Board. As a dedicated and experienced leader, Mary has consistently demonstrated her commitment to the well-being and progress of our community. Her deep understanding of local governance, financial acumen, and collaborative approach make her the ideal candidate for this important role.
Mary has a strong history of dedicated service to Acton. As the current chair of the Select Board and a former longtime member of the Finance Committee, she brings essential experience to the town’s progress. Her tenure in these roles has provided her with deep insight into the complexities of budgeting, land use, and policymaking. Through her diligent efforts, she has helped ensure that Acton remains a vibrant, fiscally responsible, and forward-thinking community.
One of Mary’s greatest strengths is her ability to listen to diverse perspectives and build consensus. She understands the importance of balancing economic growth with environmental sustainability, and she is committed to preserving Acton’s unique character while also ensuring that we adapt to changing needs. Her thoughtful and pragmatic leadership style will serve our town well as we navigate challenges and opportunities in the years ahead.
With the closing of MCI-Acton, and the subsequent planning for re-use, Mary’s dedication, experience, and vision for Acton make her the best choice for the Select Board. I urge my fellow residents to join me in supporting her candidacy and casting their votes for Mary Hartman. With her leadership, Acton will continue to thrive as a community that values inclusivity, responsible governance, and thoughtful progress.
