Michael Williams is the candidate who can create a ‘Acton for All’
I have been saddened and angered by the recent events involving the Acton School Committee. As a recently retired teacher of pre-school and elementary aged children I have worked with a number of different administrations. The model I have seen in our town is not one I am happy with. Having attended school committee meetings, written letters to the superintendent and School Committee, and watched how some in our community have been ignored and dismissed, I feel frustrated. We need serious change. That is why I am supporting Michael Williams for School Committee. As a retired Black MD, who, with his wife, has raised four children in the Acton schools, Michael knows firsthand that genuine collaboration, heartfelt listening, and a willingness to compromise are all qualities crucial for welcoming multiple points of view, a truly significant step toward creating a Acton for All.
