Post office lobby should stay open 24/7 for mailbox access

Our post office lobby should be open 24/7. Many of us work or travel out of town during the day and cannot access our P.O. boxes between 6:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. during the week (or before noon on Saturday). The cost and/or risk associated with keeping the lobby open with a light on is negligible. At the very least, we should extend the lobby hours (to 5 a.m.-11 p.m., seven days a week, for example). Automatic doors and lights could be installed at minimal expense. Most neighboring towns keep their lobbies open after hours. Our residents deserve to have more equitable and convenient access to their P.O. boxes, and it would be simple and inexpensive to provide that.
