Rebates, interest-free loans available for homeowners who add heat pumps

Kudos to Dakota Antelman for excellent coverage of the 2026 “Does It Work?” Mid-Winter Home Tour.

I would only add that both Acton Municipal Light Plant and Mass Save continue to offer generous rebates to those who shrink their carbon footprints (and often their utility bills) by getting heat pumps. Also, there will soon be an interest-free loan program available to all who make such improvements, not just to those with moderate incomes or who currently heat with gas. 

Since 2021, my fellow CMLP heating and cooling coach Kim Slack and I have counseled almost 1,000 Concordians on getting the right heat pump systems for their homes, plus all available incentives, and we look forward to helping many more. For more information, check out ConcordCleanComfort.org.
