‘Serious doubts’ about superintendent’s commitment to addressing antisemitism

“Save your thoughts for conversation rather than by email.” Does this sound like a commitment to transparency?

As reported in the August 29 Acton Bridge, Superintendent Laurie Hunter stated, during the July 22 joint Select Board and School Board meeting, that she was very eager to discuss ways “to balance transparency and facts and student privacy.”

But, as also reported in the same article, Superintendent Hunter the very next day suggested to school officials to “save your thoughts for conversation rather than by email.”

Does this sound like a commitment to transparency? For me, it raises serious doubts about whether school leadership is truly committed to addressing antisemitism and racism in our schools and community.
