Show respect when walking dogs in cemetery
A man walked by with his dog (on a leash) which lifted his leg on a nearby gravestone.
On Memorial Day, my mother and I went to Sleepy Hollow to plant flowers at my dad’s grave. As we were finishing up and getting in the car, a man walked by with his dog (on a leash) which lifted his leg on a nearby gravestone. I should’ve spoken up at the time, but this was upsetting to my mother, and I decided to move on. So I am writing with a simple request now: Please do not walk your dogs in a cemetery if you cannot control them from eliminating on the final resting spot of someone’s loved one.
