Thank you, Pride organizers and participants

We write to express our deep gratitude to the organizers of Acton’s third annual Pride celebration and to all those who joined in the festivities. It was wonderful to share joy with people from all parts of our community — young and not-so-young; queer and straight; Black, brown, and white; people of all faiths; and activists, each working in their own way, to make this world a better place.

We particularly loved the dance party, which came after the raising of the Pride flag. What a wonderful moment for Acton — people being exactly who they are, affirming life and love together, by literally dancing in our streets. 

Thank you for your hard work, vision, and bravery.
