Thanks for helping after our devastating fire

Last year at this time, January 31, 2025, a devastating fire at 36 Cottage Lane took my home, most of my possessions, and my very brave and dear kitty.

There is no way to thank all the people involved individually.

The several fire departments, both town and state police, and utilities personnel were all incredible. Immediate action helped save more of the neighborhood.

As we slowly rebuild our village colonial, we also thank the neighbors for their help and patience. It’s an ongoing process keeping us on our toes.

The Dream Builders have proven to be absolutely the hardest-working and most dedicated teams. Very difficult conditions have not kept them from working, sometimes day and night.

All the contributions from friends, neighbors, the real estate community Compass, and GoFundMe patrons have kept me clothed and not having to pitch a tent under the South Bridge Boat House. 

The Red Cross, Acton Senior Center, and Allstate Insurance have all been lifesavers.
