Thanks to donors, watering cans now available at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery
We hope to facilitate the care that families and others provide to honor and beautify the burial sites of loved ones.
The Board of Directors of The Friends of Sleepy Hollow Cemetery Inc. extends hearty gratitude to our local and out-of-area donors for their positive and encouraging response to our Annual Appeal.
Because of such generosity in supporting our 24-year mission, the board initiated and brought to reality another step toward our goals of cemetery beautification and enhancement.
We planned, purchased from in-town vendors, and positioned a tagged 2-gallon green plastic watering can at each of the 50 spigots in Sleepy Hollow and in The Knoll.
In this way, we hope to facilitate the care that families and others provide to honor and beautify the burial sites of loved ones. We are gratified that our mission is further achieved with such enabling support, and we anticipate our gifting is welcomingly helpful to visitors to this hallowed place.
We acknowledge and remain highly appreciative of our donors.
