Time for more efficient town government

Nothing incites a visceral reaction more than a mention of the DOGE and justifiably so. However, as a business owner for a good part of 40 years, I am a big fan of efficiency and its necessity in running a successful and profitable operation.

Now, having said that, and seeing the troubles a wealthy town like Acton, with its enormous tax base, seems to be having financially (close the library on Sundays, really?), I wonder if it’s not time, dare I say, for a Department of Town Government Efficiency.

Just a thought.
