We need experience on Select Board: Elect Mary Hartman and Paul Boehm

This year we are fortunate to have a full slate of candidates vying for slots on the Select Board. Given the issues facing the town in terms of budget and land use, it is more important than ever to have experienced members on the Select Board.

Mary Hartman, with whom I worked with on the Finance Committee, has that experience. Her attention to detail, fiscal responsibility, and experience for three years on the Select Board make her the candidate to re-elect. Mary is a listener, thinker, and responsive Select Board chair.

Paul Boehm also an excellent candidate, having served on key town committees, including the 2229 Main Street/Starmet, the Community Preservation Committee, and the Recreation Commission. He is thoughtful and does his homework. He is a listener, like Mary. Paul will bring his planning experience, along with a West Acton perspective, to the board.

I recommend you vote for Mary Hartman and Paul Boehm.
