Your support for breast cancer research matters
A huge thank you to our local Acton community and to all who came to support our efforts to Walk for a Cure for Breast Cancer.
On June 21 and 22 we held a charity yard sale to raise money for breast cancer research. Our friends and neighbors were incredibly generous — both by donating their gently used treasures and by coming to find new ones. Online yard sale sites helped us cast an even wider net, and 100% of the money we raised, $5,094, will support our six Susan G. Komen 3-Day 60-mile walks. Team White Butterflies is on the move, walking in Denver, Boston, Dallas, and San Diego in 2025.
So we wanted to send a huge shout out and thank you to our local Acton community and to all who came to support our efforts to Walk for a Cure for Breast Cancer. With every step and every dollar, we are making a difference together.
The New England 3Day is August 15, 16, and 17, and will carry participants through the streets of Boston, Cambridge, Newton, Charlestown, the Seaport, and Jamaica Plain. Please come out and cheer on the sea of pink, or join us for one day. Route and spectator information can be found at the3day.org under Get Involved/Spectators two weeks before the walk.
